After the Blight
A full conversion that ships inside the game. The campaign starts in 2100 after a collapse: seven nations rebuilding on Earth alone, a 1,200-turn arc, research at 1.5× pace, and no spaceflight domain.
The tech tree, roster and armory are replaced whole: 42 unit types, 10 chassis and 108 components with their own art. Mutant nests siege the map, and you can breed your own thrall line.
Already in the game: Start Campaign → Advanced settings → Seed & Mods → Mod pack.
A different tree, not a reskin
Scrap Arms leads to Long Rifles and War Rifles. Thrall Husbandry and War Breeds turn the wasteland's mutants into an army you can field. Same research screens, same rules, different world.
A pack can replace the tech tree, units, chassis, components, village focuses and ruins, bring its own homeworld map and worldgen settings, and add unit art. It is data only. No mod code ever runs.
Make your own
- Export the base pack. Start screen → Start Campaign → Advanced settings → Seed & Mods → Export base pack. You get the real shipped content as one JSON file.
- Edit it. Change a unit's stats, rewrite a tech thread, add a component. Give the pack your own
manifest.id,nameandversion. - Check it. In the game, Mod tools lints a pack and plays it for a number of turns. Outside the game,
npm run mod:check -- my-pack.json --playtest 25does the same. - Import it. Import mod…, pick your file, choose it in the Mod pack list, then Begin Campaign. The top bar shows
Modded: your namewhile it is active.
Saves embed the pack they were started with, so a modded save loads on its own. Choosing no mod gives you the unmodded game.
